Strat project...

So I've been thinking about modding up my strat. it'll be less of a mod, and more of a.... almost completely new guitar. the only original part will be the body of the strat.

Anyways heres the proposed plan of things to purchase:

Warmoth Neck
Sperzel Locking Tuners
New pickguard for H-S-S configuration
Seymour Duncan Hot Rails
Seymour Duncan Full Shred
Gotoh Wilkinson Tremelo
Chrome Knobs

Opinions? I'm mostly interested in hearing what you guys think of the pickup config.

Also I have no prior experience in modding guitars or installing pickups (on my own). Hopefully this'll be a good learning experience. It shouldn't be too hard right?

get cool rails and a duncan custom. hot rails mud out in the neck and mid. great for the bridge, but are slop elsewhere. the custom will give you more low end from a strat. the full shred is a massively bright pickup. in a strat will tear your head off with treble. the custom...even jb will make the bridge pickup more useful. the custom is essentially a ceramic(more agressive) version of the jb. with the added low end response is killer in an alder/ash body.

I have to praise the JB for a single coil option, I have one in the neck slot in my Charvel project guitar, QUITE tasty!
