String spacing with Floyds/Fenders
Ok, so as a summer project I think I want to buy a strat and put on a Schaller Floyd (or build a Warmoth soloist, if you saw my other post).
I looked at the Light Ash Strat, which has a nut width of 1.625". Now im not exactly sure if a Schaller FR would fit that. Ive never retrofitted a Floyd on a guitar before, so if any of you have, please just give me some suggestions.
