Suhr 24-fret Shred Machine

Apparently John is working on a new model developed specifically for the "shred" guys, such as Guthrie Govan. This will be exciting! Look here:

aw sweet! I've always wanted to try a Suhr but I've never had the money and I usually only get 24 fret guitars. So this might be one of those guitars I start saving up for

You need to try one. They are a real treat. John Suhr is probably one of the best builders in the world (it doesn't hurt to be one of the founders of the Fender Custom Shop either ). Joe Glaser (the renowned luthier who PLEK'ed my RG) was very high on his work too.

I'm going to start saving up like you

Only $3400 to go.

Re: Suhr 24-fret Shred Machine

Here in Memphis at Martin Music. I believe it was a Classic.

On a side (and somewhat random) note, I really like the Guitar Center in Nashville. It's much better than any other one I've been to, and the guys who were working there when I went actually knew their stuff. They had this one used champagne Tom Anderson Pro Am that was killer. Some guy named Mike Gallaher walked in and started playing the hell out of the guitar. I couldn't help complimenting the guy, and we talked for a while. He played with Adrian Belew and Joe C ocker (had to space because of the filter) apparently. He's a really nice guy, and like I said, he can play the hell out of the guitar.

Yeah, I saw that Tom Anderson. I'm gonna try it out next time I go.

I've always wondered why everyone hates GC, but I just happen to go to a great one.

I've just ordered a Suhr Carved Top, was really tempted to wait for the 24fretter but it's going to be sooooo long until you could finally get one in your hands.
