Suhr is a nice quilt top !!!!

I've had my Suhr for about 10 months now and have only just got round to taking some decent pics that I thought I'd share.

I sold a 7DBK to partially fund this beauty and haven't missed it for a second.

I'm going to save up another £2500 for a blue quilt one, with a birdseye neck and a Floyd - will take a couple of years at the current rate I'm afraid.

Specs are
Basswood body with 3/16" AAAAA quilt maple top
Suhr SSH+ humbucker and 2 Suhr noiseless single coils
1 piece maple neck with African Rosewood fretboard
Sperzel locking tuners

That is mighty sweet! Im very interested in Suhrs, but have never had the privilege of playing one, although I hear great things.
How does the playabilty compare to other guitars you have had?

The playability is superb, the neck shape is the Even C RB shape which is the one used for Reb Beach's guitars - a nice C shape which is quite thin but thicker than my old 7DBK, not quite a thick as a strat.

The fret finishing is perfect as you'd expect and the fingerboard edges are rolled over lovely. The Buzz Feiten system is really impressive too

Too guarantee perfection every custom guitar is played by John Suhr before being despatched. Mine was signed too

Yes it has been PLEK'd - I think the frets are perfect - dead level, no dead spot anywhere on the neck and no problems with choking
