Suhr Pro Series
Does anyone here have any experience with the
Suhr Pro series
guitars. After falling with love with my
Suhr Standard
, I'm seriously considering buying one

Re: Suhr Pro Series
No personal experience but I know they're supposed to be fantastic! I mean it's a Suhr so it's bound to be
They all come with the 1055 Gotoh trem now as far as I know.
Not long until my Carve Top is finished now (hopefully...)

I've read a few reviews on HC and the general comment is that the Pro Series is as good as the
custom guitars
, but I wanted a few opinions over here before I decide to buy one. Although I did ask a couple of American fleabayers to ship their used ones over here and save me a packet compared to a new one. But they flat refused to do so

Re: Suhr Pro Series
I'm not to keen on the S1, but the S2 (
maple fretboard
) and the S3 look fantastic value for money IF the standard features are what you're after.
The S3 with a killer flame top, SSH+ HB and Even C slim neck will do for me anyday

Re: Suhr Pro Series
I have two of the original Pro Series (which are essentially S1's w/ Wilkinson VG-300's and a DSH in the bridge w/ 2 V60LPs). Best guitars ever. Sold my stash because these tend to work better for me...

Re: Suhr Pro Series
Thanks for the replies guys
I think I'll probably end up buying one if I can find it at the right price, there's no way I'm spending £1300 on a new one!

Re: Suhr Pro Series
Matt is a Suhr dealer, so if you want a good price on one I'd definitely check with him.

Re: Suhr Pro Series
Yeh, I've been checking some of his custom guitars he's had in. Amazing tops
I've been having a chat with the dealer at Sounds Great in Manchester and might be tempted to get one custom built. If I do, I'll have one built with a top similar to my old MRG-1 QMG

Re: Suhr Pro Series
My carved top is coming to £1600 or thereabouts, shipping and customs will bring it to £2k, but it's still LOTS cheaper than ANY carved top in the uk. It's pretty tricked out too :>
From Matts music.
