Sustainer in maverick?

I have a Maverick X-1 D-tox and was wondering if it were possible to get a sustainer put in giving that it has powered pickups. also how difficult it would be to install?

A Fernandes sustainer? Not much more difficult that it would be wiring it with passive pickups. Fernandes gives you a schematic for both passive and active pickups so there's no logistical problem there outside of the appropriate routing, etc. to install the unit itself.

i dont know if it would fit the p/up route as they seem to be routed for emg size p/ups, in which case they might be too wide.
