swapping necks

I have purchased a fender strat with a locking trem. However i found it limiting to my playing as it has 21 frets. Can i swap with a 22 frets neck?

Probably yes. As long as the 22nd fret is on a fretboard extension. In other words, just don't change the scale length.

Shouldn't be an issue - have a look at Warmoth or W&D parts - as RyanB says, normally the 22nd fret on a Fender is a little extension of the fretboard which sits over the pickguiard.

Go with a carvin neck. I did that with my strat clone because it was creppy. Now I have a sick guitar that plays like butter.

+1 on the Warmoth neck idea. I have 5 and they all have the overlapping 22nd fret and do not change the scale length of standard fender strat neck pockets. (Beware Warmoth also makes a shortscale neck as well)
