Yeah, totally agree - I didn't actually say they were good......
Mind you, I think what Fender were trying to do was a sort of faux stone finish, not a swirl in the JEM sense. The Red/Black one ain't too bad.
The actual Strat they swirled was one of the most cost-cutting Strats Fender had ever done - they couldn't even be bothered with the
angled jack route - straight out of the scratchplate. Oddly enough, for all the corner cutting they did, they're a pretty good Strat!
