lol, even though it must be torture for you - you cant help but see the funny side of it. Aside from that - I would give Fender a quick ring and ask them. They will probably try and see if they can make/send you a new key.

If that fails, you could always just hack into with a chisel, and then replace the latches after with new ones. Or you could get a locksmith!

How would they know what key to make/send... theres no serial number or code on the case... not every one has the same lock :P ...
Im trying the "i know what im doing, i'll get a paperclip, stand back, this is what they do in hollywood" approach... and that cant fail...

the keys to my Fender cases seem to be interchangeable - one unlocks the other... may not work for you, but maybe a local shop would have a key to one of their fender cases that would unlock yours. maybe my cases are just unusual...

When you say "they" forgot to unlock the case, who is "they"? Surely, you can call or write to "them" and have them send a key?

Sending the guitar back because you can't open the case seems a little drastic.

"They", are the company I bought it from... "They" cannot send me a key, as the locks are different on each case, so sending another key would be pointless... so im gonna send it back, or have it collected and they will send another case with guitar

Unacceptable.
I would ask for a discount on the new one.

If they're going to replace the guitar with the case, then you have to open the case and replace the latch later if this isn't an investment. Don't send it anywhere. Do it now ;-)
If this is an investment, I guess it doesn't matter. if it's to play, and it's the best one they made and you sent it back because the latch was locked.... Is it a maple fretboarded two tone sunburst? Man, I couldn't send it back without playing it...
So...open the case and play it....then, if it isn't magical, just hammer the tab back closed again before sending it back
