Thinking of dropping a floyd in...

So for some routing practice, I think I might drop an OFR in to my Squier Strat.

I know, I know, it's a Squier. I would take the FR out when I get a new guitar, but until then, I'd keep it in the Squier.

Who sells OFR/Schaller/Gotoh floyds the cheapest?

Carvin sells OFRs pretty cheap, don't know if they're the cheapest. Check Matt, the site sponsor listed above.

I think guitar asylum has them the cheapest.

but you can get a floyd rose discovery guitar for the same price as the tremolo, so why not?

Except you could sell the parts on **** for super cheap! And still have the floyd stuff left over, or could use it on your squier!
