Tips on building your own custom Jackson

I'm trying to decide whether or not to basically "build" my own custom jackson dk2m type guitar.

It started when i tried out a transparent blue dk2m. It played amazingly and sounded purely awesome.

But i noticed, it would look way better with gold hardware. I found a virtual jackson guitar generator and it looked pretty sweet.

My question is what sites/guitar lutheirs can make all the parts for a jackson dk2m with a trans flamed maple finish? For a reasonable price. I have around 550 in cash but saving for more.

the alder body is nice from the standard dk2m, but I'm more a fan of mahogany's warm tone.

Keep saving. You'd be lucky to get a painted body for $550

And save up for a hardware swap.

A custom axe will cost a lot more than $550...

Ayrton's right. Just get a new DK2M... I had one and it was brilliant, but that JT580LP tremolo does not belong on the guitar. It truly is cr@p, the older JT500 trems are so much better.
