Tootie: The psychadelic stratocaster

bought this fine thing for the grand sum of £25 couple of weeks ago of that auction site, was plain gloss black and set-up was terrible, given new paint job and a fairly decent set up and its proving to be very fun indeed.

I was aiming for halfway between hendrix and vai on this one, and got very messy in the process.

spec:
neon pink, neon yellow, neon green, neon orange and black.
scallop frets 19-22.
full fret tidy up.
acrylic clear pickguard
resoildered electronics.
and lotsa of fun in the process.

yes i know there's an olympic pool sized swiming pool route in there, and choosing a clear-guard may seem stupid, i created this souley out of what i wanted, so im happy

(disclaimer my guitars are normally quite visually burning, due to high points of bling material and crazzzzzzzzy colours. mwahahaha)

That looks like something Clapton would've played during his Cream days.
I love it!
Is that a scallop job on the upper frets that I see?

Its ok for a project guitar. But its a steal that you got it for 25 pounds.

yer they are scalloped. something i feel comfortable with aswell. the pick ups are stock, but its got a good vibe going through a keeley ds1 into a marshall stack.
