Totocaster... just my guitar...

hi...
i just wanted to show u my one and only guitar for now in whitch i'm in love :P

well... simply it's a cheap korean stratocaster copy...

...as u can see i've made many mods on it... i'll list them.
1. Seymour Duncans!
Seymour duncan pickups... hahaha.... they changed this guitar complitelly! i get superb sound from this guitar with my boss GT8... it's equiped with little '59, Duckbucker and Hot Rails... why this combo? cuz of superb versatility... '59 gives my classic lesp paul sound, duckbucker is a vintige strat sounding PU without hum, goes just gret on hendrix and funky staff... and Hot Rails... this is my favorite rithm pickup, with this PU u can hear every note in chord even on very hi gain setting... and Hot Rail cleans are realy strange, very modern EMG kinda sounding...
2. Electronics
2.1. On a horn u can see simple "kill switch" for Zakk-ish slicer effects :P
2.2. Firts tone cotrol is only for neck pickup, when playing a very agresive rythm on Hot Rails i just switch to neck position and get great petrucci-like solo sound
2.2. Second Tone cotroller is a "Spin-a-Split" mod for '59 from Seumour Duncan's web-site. '59 sound just great in split and even more stratty than original strat in split and parallel eith duckbucker
3. Tremolo
Well.... i cand affort a good solo guitars forn now with floyd rose, but watching adrian belew and steve vai made me to fall in love with tremolo systems I removed 2 springs from my tremolo and left there also 2, spend 2 hours tu get in tune:P and now I have vintage-tremolo which can lower and RISE(!! ) pitch! (see pic above)
4. Stickers
When I place them on guitar they were my favorite people, my friends, guitar and music heros :P ... my tastes changed but I leave them there anyway...
5. Pickguard
White Pickguard.... pheee.... this Van-Hallen-ish looks better IMO :P
6. Headstock
No mod here... this thing hanging on headfstock is just last "gift" from ex-girlfriend...

that's all.... ... and sorry for my english btw

p.s. now i'm collecting money for UV777PBK =D

That sounds like a pretty cool axe, that's for sure. Nice original artwork and stuff too. It's fun making cheap guitars sound like nice expensive ones too.

Nice. I have 4 very cheap guitars here and Im planning on doing quite a bit with them just to see what I can do. I wish there wasn't only one guitar that wasn't plywood though......

Re: Totocaster... just my guitar...

I am a big fan of cheap - two guitars I use these days cost me $50 and $100 respectively (the cost of my always-in-progress rig is getting out of hand though).

This axe looks good, it does what you want it to do, and that's what matters. Besides, nobody else in the world has one just like it, that's at least what it seems like from the clip.

I think he meant how come the bridge is tilted so far forward? That's crazy. You should screw the tremolo claw further in and tighten up the tension. Surely the tone must suck with it being so far forward?

Aside from that bridge being crazily setup, that's a pretty cool axe.

Re: Totocaster... just my guitar...

Hey if it works it works. The bridge on my start floats off the body too. Not that much though.
