Re: Turning into a Fender user!!
As a former Js100 owner who was often frustrated by keeping that effing Lo TRS in tune I can categorical state that Telecasters Rule.

I didn't like Strats all that much until I got one. Then another.

Re: Turning into a Fender user!!
I love my JS100. Great action and it does stay in tune after a LONG/ frustrating weekend of tweaking. (upgraded pickups too) (My main practice guitar)
I use my strat alot b/c of the midi rig, but my main live guitar is my JS2000.
Sometimes, I do consider going back to a strat full-time.
Other than that, my favorite non-Ibanez has to be my
Parker Fly Deluxe
. The
piezo pickup
sounds killer, plus it's a stereo guitar.

Re: Turning into a Fender user!!
Starting to wish Inever owned a strat for 15 years. I love my Schecter Blackjack PT (set neck 24 fret, H-H).
Wish I would have bought a tele for my first guitar then an Ibanez RG anything.
ah well. Back to Ibanez for me. I have given up on my strat. I wore the frets almost totally. Nothing to crown after the level...

..
I GASsed for one of those for a long time but never did end up with one. I think those are great guitars and was sad to see them dropped from the line. I have the C-7 in that series and it is a smoker.
I have owned two different USA Strats, USA Tele, USA Sub Sonic Baritone Strat, late 60's Bandmaster head and the only Fender product I still own is my trusty '65 Reverb Deluxe Reissue 1x12 combo. I would like to get another Tele at some point (with binding).
I have a student that bought the 3 humbucker version of the John 5 Tele and I personally was impressed with it.

Re: Turning into a Fender user!!
+1 to DavyH. Fender never floated my boat somehow years later, I have umpteen Strats, (mostly Squiers) and I find myself looking through the Strat Chronicles about once a month. Pretty crazy for a guitar I didn't even like. Last night, I had my two favorite Strats out and kept playing them back and forth. One is a Fender AV 62 and the other is it's Squier twin a Pro Tone Series Strat.
By the way, which Bullet do you have? Some of the Bullets are actually quite nice it's the newer ones that give the Bullet a bad rap.
