Unique Beautiful Guitar for Sale or Trade

Hi,

I picked this guitar up as a beautiful piece of eye candy. I love eagles, so it naturally caught my eye. I played it ONE TIME to see what it felt and sounded like, but other than that, it has been on my wall. The bridge pickup is your typical humbucker with lots of beef, the single coil has a great bluesy, jangly tone to it. In the middle position, it has a great split combined sound great for arpeggios and the like. I never got a bar for the trem because I never intended to play it and for some reason it didn't come with one (weird). Also, it didn't come with a case, but I am including a really nice one. Visit the page I built for it for pics and more info. I am looking for TRADES or CASH. No guitars in trade unless you have one I really like. I am not selling this guitar because I want to. I just joined a band and need performance gear. I need a nice processor with foot controller that will sound great through a P.A. (e.g., Digitech 2101LE with rack and Control One) or a killer amp that has lots of footswitching options and tone options (e.g., 3 channels with footswitch, all tube, great speakers, etc.).

Thanks!

+1

Yep, it appears to start going off the fretboard around the 11th fret so it's basically unplayable unless the neck could be realigned. .

Thumbs down

Re: Unique Beautiful Guitar for Sale or Trade

Two things are funny:

1) That I accidently placed this ad in the wrong place (since I've been a member for 5 years, you'd think I would know better).

2) The comments. Wow. The quizical ones are fine. I am more than happy to add another picture that gets rid of this optical illusion. I didn't even notice that the angles were weird. I was just trying to get the flame. So for the one(s) who pointed this out: thank you.

But to just say that "it's basically unplayable unless the neck could be realigned" is blatantly irresponsible and borders on sabatoge. You have no proof of that. You are going off your interpretation of a camera angle at the expense of a sale by me. Not cool!

Moderator, could you please kindly close this thread? Thank you so much.

The observation is valid imo, particularly since you are selling something that is clearly a one-off, and offer no information about who built it, where or when. There are a lot of amateur luthiers out there who have built interesting looking pieces that simply don't work as guitars, and if I see a pic that clearly shows the high E string out of alignment, and then read statements like "I bought it as eye candy" and "I only played it once", all kinds of alarm bells start going off in my mind. Besides, posting in the general "guitars" forum and not in the "forsale" forum invites comments like this - it's why this forum exists...
