Valey Arts - opinions please

Hi there!

I recently encountered a Valey Arts guitar that I really liked. The headstock simply says Standard and the brand of course.
It's all black, 24 frets, maple/rosewood neck, 1 humbucker (Seymore Duncan)and 2 single coils, Floyd Rose and plays like a dream. Price? 7995 SEK, about $800.

Valley Arts made some nice stuff back in the day. All the necks were fabricated by Warmoth. I've never owned one, but I've played quite a few and they were all very nice.

$800 sounds like a deal to me.

Just a few notes on Valley Arts guitars... I believe Samick bought them in the early 90s and later Valley Arts guitars were made in Korea.

They also made quite a few that were 24 3/4" (Gibson) scale length, prompted by a request from Larry Carlton. If memory serves, regular Valley Arts guitars were 25 1/2" scale length and had 22 frets. The 24 fret ones were 24 3/4" scale. You might want to check that out if it's an issue for you.

Didn't Blues Saraceno have a sig model from VA? I kind of remember him jumping on board there for a very short period of time.
