Walden Guitars anyone heard of this?

I'm wanting to buy a Nylon electroacoustic guitar and recently someone ofered to me a Walden N550CE, it looks good and has the features I want, a full body (no thin shape) guitar, with a sort of "classical" neck and a cutaway (for electric guitar players like me is a very nice feature) so..

Anyone knows or has played a guitar like this?
Are they good?
Can anyone suggest me another model with similar features?

I never played a Walden but if you want more reach and less tone that is reasonable. I wonder why you think you really need the cutaway though... glen

Walden is a decent pacific-rim guitar - you may also want to look at Cordoba and Alhambra (who make the Ramirez student "E" series line of instruments).

I had a Cordoba. Sold it to my Dad when I moved heer to Japan. It's a good guitar for the money. My pops plays classical and Jazz he prefers it in some ways to his Yairi Alvarez classical which is at least couble the price.. But unless you are really reaching high and so on, don't worry about a cutaway. It's a classical and it will sound light years better without one.

I'm not a classical guitar player.. I want that guitar to play some jazz fusion, pop and some classical stuff too but just for hobby. I'm looking for a decent unplugged sound.. I know I can't expect too much for the price.. so I don't know

what do you think?
