When I used to work at a music shop my manager brought in his Custom 24 and Hollowbody PRS's, and to this day I have never played a nicer guitar than that custom. Congrats on getting one!

Yeah- man, and the price is great. The best sounding guitar on the market I must say, but I prefer the ones with the stoptail.

Birds and a Whale Blue Ten top - good work! Blue just seems soooo right with PRSs - congratulations, and I agree with those who say you got her for a good price!

Cheers

Re: WEEE!! Just bought a PRS Custom 22

Thanks guys, I just got word of today that she's en route. I'm wondering what to name her? I would have liked more a Custom 24 in Gray Black with a Quilt Top though! But its all good I can bet this guitar is going to be amazing. This is my second choice in colour and Top Style. VERY EXCITED!!

Oh yeah, forgot to ask, Anyone here have any experience with the Dragon II pickups and how they sound? I listened to some sound clips on the PRS website and they sounded pretty good.

Re: WEEE!! Just bought a PRS Custom 22

Hope you weren't expecting a wide-thin neck as the ad states, the card clearly says WF (wide fat). Anyway, super super guitars. Every time I play one I fall in love with them again. I sold mine because I just couldn't get around that finished neck, but I sold the 2 jems recently on here to partially fund either a Modern Eagle (Braz rosewood neck) or a HollowBody w/ Piezo (I'll get over the finished neck for one of these). Amazing tone, awesome guitars. Can't compare them to jems, Bentleys and Ferraris. Both the best at what they are designed to be.

Re: WEEE!! Just bought a PRS Custom 22

That looks awsome!
PRS' and Jems are VERY expensive in Australia, so it's worth the frustration and expense to import. ( BRMR's listed @ $5,490AUD here)
I love the whale blue and whatever the purple colour is of my 99 McCarty that's on it's way:-] . Good old evilbay# 140053349004.
The only thing I would have liked to have, is the Birds (but at the $$$ I'm not complaining :-] )

I hope mine is in as good condition as your Custom 22.

Oh, and for christmas, I also bought this. 200047531753
