It's normal. It's because the trem on newer strats are set up to float from the factory. When you set them up flat to the body it causes this issue. I had the same thing when i set up my trem for push down only. Bend the bar a little. Just put it in a vice with a couple of blocks of wood. It will bend pretty easily. Either that or you can set it up to float which I will tell you right now will lead to tuning stability issues. I run my
