How much might you charge for such an animal as the Telecaster? Just curious.

Re: Wel another relic done and in the books Shes pretty..
ibanezcollector, why do you do this?
I am fascinated by relics. I don't get it. I like the way real old guitars look, and I would treasure a real old Telecaster, but not a fake one.
I would probably accept it if one was offered to me for free, but I would never pay money for one. Why do people buy these? Someone please help me understand.

Vintage 68 Tele $3000+
Look and feel of a vintage tele $900
do the math. Its a finish option, why do people go nuts over a LNG refinished Jem? same reason they cant afford or find the original.

That's not a bad job on the Tele.
The only things that let it down in my estimation are the consistency of the dings and the non-period correct specs. If it's got 22 frets and looks that beat up, then the illusion is lost.

Only on those that know or care how many frets it 'should' have. Which would be and insignificant number of people. But on stage, that guitar would look darn cool.
