Well another relic done and in the books Shes pretty..

Just got done with another one this afternoon.. Man this baby has got some soul to it..

Since I moved to bass I havent posted a whole lot here. I sorta miss you guys hahaha

I still am chucking away at bass, and still doing the relicing thing obviously. Its actually become a small business.

But enough about what I have been up to, here is the pics.

You've done a simply awesome job on the neck, but in my opinion, the fairly consistent even-ness of the 'polka-dot' (?) wear on the body makes it look faked.

Nice!

Just curious, how much time would you say it took to do this?

each guitar or bass I do takes me about 40-50 hrs to get it all done..

Nothing is left to randomness its all pre planned. For example this telecaster I used a real 1968 Tele as reference, I had about 20 photos and mimiced each and every ding, wear mark, etc.

Nice job! How did you do it? Do you just throw it across the floor a couple of times?
