What Dimarzio In Yamaha AES720

Are they normal models or no name models like the IBZ pickups?

they are model specific, like the ibzusa. my buddy has 2 of them, the black and the blue. the seock dimarzios are just ok. in one we replaced the stock bridge pickup with an x2n as he was using it for drop c. the high end of the x2n would make up for the mud.

How is the guitars playability compared to say a Les Paul or a Ibanez SZ? I'm trying to decide on one of the three. I'm trying to find one local to play.

if your used to ibanez necks, than the sz is the way to go. the aes has a pretty big neck. not as big as the 59 les paul neck, but big and round. the sz necks are obviously bigger than the wizard, but have a flatter feel. tbh, i love the sz necks. very modern vintage. substantial for riffers and shredders alike.
