The Gibby (even in good shape) is probably only a $600-$700 guitar at best. I bought one for around $500 from around that era.

The Strat might have some value but you would have to ask those in "the know" about Strats. I think I heard the those were not such good years for Strats but again, I'm no expert on Fender stuff.

Bottom line is, what would you feel good about and actually use without feeling remorse later. I hate to trade/sell a guitar and later have that remorse (I regret letting go of quite a few: G&L USA Climax XL, '00 DBK, USA Wolfgang, RG1608 JC and on and on).

Stop talking to this guy - his offers are ridiculous, even with that other hamer thrown in it still would be worth it. And yes there is nothing good about an 80's strat. If it was a strat from 74-78 then i'd say you can think about it for sure.

And yeah a 95 gibson in black to top it all can be secured for an easy 400 - 600 tops.

USA Hamers are outstanding instruments, but I'd still keep the ESP as well. get a can of FingerEaze for the back of the neck if it sticks a bit

If he wants your ESP so bad you should settle on a fair price for him and let him worry about selling his other guitars to pay for it. Win win.

I know i sound as if i am pushing you off for this trade, but it's not like that. I've just seen a lot of cheap trades and this guy is motioning a laugh at you with his trades. Don't worry, that guitar will get you something better. IT's alright not to like it entirely. Good knows i made mistakes. Hell i bought a half stack mesa dual rectifier, when i wasn't even into the recto sound that much. Anyways, so think it over and list it everywhere you want. Esp's are so valuable and much harder to find than their LTD cheapo's or equals (since some models are exactly the same except for craftsmanship, but even then...) so it will really reep you some better rewards.

Ok, now he offers the strat plus an '92 PRS EG-II (any info for that model?, i dont know a thing about them), but he wants +200E=300$ from my side...
