Hey guys whats up?
OK tell me what do u think on that trade:

My (like new December 2006) ESP Horizon FR-II for a Hamer USA 87 + black/maple strat 83
But i dont know what model is the hamer

Its the paintjob from factory or aftermarket?

Looks kinda like a factory job I've seen on past models. I have an exp version of that guiatr in that same color.

I'd have to say the ESP would be my personal choice. I'd like to see a pic of the ESP for comparison but just being an '86 trade for an '06 I'd keep the newer guitar unless there was an collectability to the older guitar or you just fancy it more for some reason.

I do like USA Hamer stuff but I also like real ESP's.

if this is your esp I say keep it. I owned a hamer guitar and it was good but I don't miss it at all.

yeah an 83 black stratocaster with maple frettboard, i havent see it yet...
But i just find the same hamer (even with the same paintjob) on a site, and the guy is asking 500$ for it, so i think its not a good deal for me if the hamer value is 500$, I paid 2000E=2979$ for my horizon one year ago...

Dude... don't do that. Keep your ESP - it's a very expensive and good instrument. That hamer was **** then and it is now. The only reasonable trade i could see would be for the old Hamer explorers or a guitar of equal quality. The floyd looks like crap. Take your time, your guitar will keep it's value and eventually you will find a deal that will convene to both you and the seller.

The only reason i want to trade it, is cause i dont play it as much as she deserves cause i like much better the thin flat unpainted neck on my ESP M-II Deluxe and play her a lot more than the horizon (also am a 43mm nut width guy and the horizon has 42mm nut...)
BUT
I made my desicion: i will keep it cause its a real quality instrument as u said and now that i know what is the hamers value (500$) i say NO way on that trade, i dont know much on the hamer's superstrats and i thought that they were pricey, thats the reason i was thinking on that trade...

You could easily get any Jem save for the J10th, DNA, 77GMC, 77PMC .

So put it up on here - or you could always make a price and sell it. But you will get more trade wise.

If you aren't playing the ESP then you have the right idea to sell it and get what you want.

I agree about the HAMER USA Standard (Explorer). I'd LOVE to have one of those but I'll have to settle on a new '08 Gibson Eplorer (in white w/ an ebony board) when they are back in stock (and about $1000 less than the Hamer version).

My fr-ii for the above strato (83) and a black gibson explorer (95)...
what do u think about that offer?
