Which guitar? OLP MM1FR or Jackson DX10D

Hi-

Looking to pick up either one of these to add to my collection:
either a OLP mm1FR or jackson dx10 in transparent blue.
Both cost roughly the same.
Any advice/suggestions on these two?

thanks

jeff

It's all about preference but I would go for the OLP and if you plan on regularly using it and the trem then you could swap it out for an OFR if you need to. I really want the OLP with the blue quilt top, maple board, and vintage trem though.

That's a tough one. For the price, I'd say you'd get more bang for your buck with the OLP. They make some pretty good guitars for the price.

Hi-
Can't seem to find the olp mm1fr anywhere, just the mm1. Decided to nix the dx10d as i tried it out do not like rosewood fretboards...
now thinking of either the olp mm1fr (if i can find one), fender mim strat (olympic white) or jackson dk2m.......

Re: Which guitar? OLP MM1FR or Jackson DX10D

I just bought a MM1 FR and i love it
it really is a great axe and all i did was swap the pups for a air zone/air norton set and redid the necks finish and it is good to go
i also thing that thhe DX10 is a great guitar and overall a better value since it is made in japan and has a bit more quality overall.
BUT the are day and night in tone and feel
i prefer the OLP MM1 for feel with its unfinished maple neck( i re-did it with tru- oil the same way that EBMM does it to the axis guitars for that protected but unfinished feel and look.
get one fo you can and do these little mods and you will have a guitar that plays and sounds like a $1500 one
