Would anyone acually buy this?

I was checking out the esp website looking at pics of the explorer i just put on layaway yesterday (can't wait to bring that thing home! [it might not be the nicest guitar in some opinions, but i like it.]) Anyway I was looking through all the models and happened to see a Richie Sambora model, I was expecting some sort of superstrat but came across this crime against nature....

Now I'm not sure if this has already been talked about here at jemsite but I would like to hear a few opinions on this thing.

Who knows what he was thinking on that.

Considering endorcees get paid by the unit sold, something more "mainstream" would have been better.

same question to my self :
will I ever buy a fairly standard M2 for like USD 2,000 ??

the answer is : never.

for like 2k guitar, I expect a lot more cosmetic works on it, yes it's just cosmetic but for 2k, I want it so damn bad.
I won't pay 2k for standard soloist-look a like guitar, black of course, off set dots, no neck and headstock binding, chrome hardware... no way sir.

about sambora thing.... never been a fan too, so ..never.

I might consider it if it was significantly cheaper, but at that price there is no way I would even pick it up.

Hell no..... that is one ugly guitar.....

In fact, the only thing that could be salvaged from it is the Floyd Rose!

Add to that, it's an ESP - if you're buying an ESP, in general you're looking for a metal guitar with EMG pickups, Sambora really doesn't fit the bill...... Confusing stuff!!!!
