Yamaha Pacifica?

I've got 2 , a 12 string and a 6 string . Great guitars for the money.

I'm pretty much sold on one, I think. The playability and sound coupled with the price and looks make this a pretty nice beat up guitar, except I don't expect to ever beat it up

Perhaps after I get my JEM. How soon after remains to be seen.

The Pacifica is a very well built, and balanced guitar. Grab it, you won't regret it

The one thing I didn't like on mine straight from the store was the fret ends weren't done, I had to do that right away. Don't mind that though, I figure that was one way they saved money to bring us a lower cost guitar with potential.

Yeah, I wanted to get one I tried at a store, but it's looking like I'm not getting anything soon. Financial difficulties reign supreme in this economy, so it looks like the money is going towards the family. Thanks for the replies, though. I may still get one someday.

You will!)) Once you tried Pacifica, there is no way back!
I'm yamaholic myself))) , my first guitar was pacifica 112 of 2000 year, but Ive sold it and now am regreting it( it was great quality, but I just had nothing to compare with.
Now I have couple of Yamaha rgx421d, rgz321p, rgx220 - they all are great quality and plays very well.
And actually I'm finnaly getting back to pacificas - one pacifica 1221 is currently being shipped to me) Love them.

Very well built guitars. Even the cheap ones. I had the yellow one like Bill Leverty played - the 1221M. Awesome guitar. Wide-thin neck, stock Dimarzios. I had a pile of Pacificas about 10 years ago - 1221M, 1230S, 921, 912J, 821...lots of others. I always watch for the neck-thru Soloist style guitars, but they are really tough to come by, and still command top dollar.

Yamaha Pacificas are usually 13.75" Radius with larger frets- easy to play, not like a Vintage Strat radius.
