i got my rg570ct with a hard case for dead on $400 its an alder body 570. it looks beautiful yet some how sounds much better then it looks which is amazing.

I got an '87 Jem FP for $600.00.
sadly I couldn't keep it, but the profit eroded the sting of selling her.

got a Samick (don't laugh just yet) strat, designed by Valley Arts for 86 bucks with a hard case. the thing is in flawless condition. The one mod that was done was a Dimarzio fast track was installed in the bridge with a coil tap.

the guitar plays awesome!

Recently got a mint '92 RG570 for $200. Then, last week, I purchased a mint '83 (possibly '84) Kramer Focus 3000 with an Schaller OFR for $100. Both came with customized hard cases.

I got a '64 SG Special as a gift after I started playing. It was given to me by a friend of my father's. He was the second owner, had acquired it in the '60s after it had been pretty heavily modded (T-top humbuckers, wraparound tailpiece, Grovers) but then he got into flamenco and jazz and it sat in his closet for many years. When I started playing, he flew in from Chicago and gave it to me.

Closest thing to that would be the 7620 I scored for $175 or a USA Hamer Scarab for $200.

A 91 USA Custom with a 1/2 inch thick flame maple top in EC with gold hardware with the best condition ibanez case I have ever seen used, $229 and this was at a store!!!
This was within the last 3 months and I was so freakin excited that I was shaking...
I have like 70-80 guitars but that one is awesome deal
I got a casio MG 510 once for $75 that I turned around and traded +200 for a DBK
A pristine white 550 for $250
A les paul studio for fixing a guys computer
A blue 770 for $200
An AF105 for $249 (kickass jazz box)
the best one is still that USA custom, I hadnt been that excited about a guitar for years
