zakk wylde bullseye - real deal?

Hey guys, a little help please from those that know.

Did the ZW bullseye custom shop LP come with
a/ rosewood fret board? I thought it was ebony.
b/serial # 02005567? I thought they had ZW in the s/n.
c/tulip grover tuners rather than kidney bean govers?

I've got a mate who I think may have been totally ripped off. I don't know what he paid or where he got it but the headstock & logo just look a touch odd.

If it is, how do I tell him without laughing??

btw, yes, if the fretboard isnt ebony its a fake. unless its an epiphone, then yes, its probably real.

Wonder if your buddy bought an Epi that somebody repainted the headstock with the Gibson logo? That could account for the different specs and the odd looking logos.

Rosewood board and no ZW in the serial number = Fake.
Tell him over the phone, then at least he wont see you laugh.

Fake. Stamped instead of printed serial (w/ no ZW), rosewood instead of ebony, shouldn't be a surround on the toggle switch, etc., etc.

That headstock is brutal. Your friends serial number is only 6 digits away from the fake in the picture on the Fibsons site.

Wow, There's a whole site for fake Gibsons and only a thread here for fake Ibanez. UNFAIR! Chibanez does sound funnier than Fibson, tho.
