I like the hardtail one. I wonder too if there are any other colours available. The Apex logo is the only thing that doesn't appeal that much to me. If I get one I'll definitely use my black marker!

I'd very nearly buy both guitars tbh. Although I do agree, the Apex inlay at the 12th fret on the hardtail sucks.

Re: 07's K7 ??!?

i wouldnt say it sucks, its a bit like ESP when they put the model number on the 12th fret, its not as gawdy as the inlay on the K7 which i really dont mind on mine i quite like it the only thing i dont like about the hard tail is the TOM bridge, ive never really got allong with them but thats just me

im defenatly getting the APEX-1 (trem) though, looks sexy and it'll go great with my blue k7

Re: 07's K7 ??!?

Well, klet's face it no-one will like an inlay of a band they don't like.

Personally i don't care, although i'm a Capricorn! Ha ha.

Anyways, i liked the K7 & I like the new Munky sig too.

The K7 is actually a great guitar for jazz-fusion. Obviously you'd need to change the pickups to Seymour Duncan JB-7/Jazz-7, but with the Mahogany body & neck and Rosewood board, it's ideal for fusion.

I'm sure Bucky Pizzarelli would dig it!

Three years ago, it was a one-off custom. This year, it's a production model. Slight difference.

I actually really like the looks of the Apex1 fixed bridge model... Any word yet on the pickups? Are they PAF's as well, or cheapo V7/8-7's?

Only 700 euros? Does anyone know if it's going to be a japanese model?
Sure looks it's too cheap to be MIJ.
If it's MIJ I'll get one for sure!

I´m not sure about that. But it looks almost the same like the guitars rob p is using except the k-7 inlay and the colour.

another thing I just saw in the live on the other side dvd is that munky uses a 3 pc neck and not a 5 pc as it´s on the mass production model...haha
