1077XL Pickups - Compare to what??

I have checked the forum and sspecs and all I find is Custom Dimarzio 7 string pickups. How do they compare? Are they like a Blaze or Paf or what? Thanks

i think they're the same as the pickups in a 7620/7621, just with a different name...
as far as how they compare to a blaze or a paf, i have no idea.

Personally, they sound and feel like PAFs to me, but a quick call to DiMarzio confirmed that they are NOT PAFs. In fact, there were created as a new set for some Ibanez guitars. They're not bad. Infact, I like them...
