1527 bridge

is the edge pro on the rg1527 really that bad compared to a lo pro? im about to buy a 1527 in rb from a local music store for 659$$. i want a NEW ibanez 7, not a 2nd hand one and, uv777bk= lo pro but outa my price range. rg7321=fixed bridge, but it doesnt seem as nice as the 1527.i wouldnt EVER buy something other than an ibanez, but the 1527 seems about the only reasonable 7 out right now. will the edge pro dissapoint me? Peace, ryan

Re: 1527 bridge

I own 2 1527's both have the new trem and I love it. I still love the lo-pro as well. I have found that the edge pro is a little more sensitive and springy which is good for slapping around.

Re: 1527 bridge

I like Edge Pros better than Edge Lo-Pros. Sensitive and better looking IMO.

But that may just me getting used to Edge Pros. After all, my first guitar is equipped with an Edge Pro.

Re: 1527 bridge

You guys should start a very exclusive club for people who prefer the Edge-Pro.

Only kidding........

Re: 1527 bridge

Yeah, I've always liked the Lo-Pro Edge only because that's all I've played and own.
I probably would like the Edge-Pro though if I had one.

Re: 1527 bridge

i love my 1527, if it was a woman i would have married it by now! the bridge is perfect as far as im concerned. only two things that bug me about the guitar:
headstock logo
slightly sub standard pickups
as a remedy i bought a new headstock logo from evilbay, message me if u want a pic, its soo good.
it did need a little work as i didnt want to stick over my nice shiny ibanez logo with a matt grey one, but it worked nice!!

What's wrong with the headstock logo ?

What have you done to your guitar ? This sounds worrying !
