excuse the ignorance but whats the point of having a 14 string guitar? The low B would sound like mud when both 13th and 14th string rings out.

What's the point of a 7 string at all then.. not to mention an 8 string..
Come on man, you tweak the sound so it doesen't get muddy, yeah?
That's the way it works..
There's many way to do that.

Give me a 9-string guitar, with a standard tune lower that F or F#, I'll even make that one sound good and tight for you.

That guitar had a weird "Children of the corn" vibe. I love doublenecks, but that is ridiculous.

A side note: When is Ibanez gonna release a 14 string electric guitar with an edge? An Edge 14, if you would. Talk about having fun...
