7 string Flying V - mix between universe, jem and jackson
* My dream guitar is a 7 string with tone zone7 in the bridge,
paf pro
at the neck, neck-through construction with 27 frets, tree of life inlay, gold lo pro double edge
piezo bridge
, and a roland midi system built in and if there is space a monkey grip!!! mmmmmmm!! thats tasty!! and to finish it to continue the tree of life in the body

Sounds good to me! *Especially that part about the 27 frets... *why 27 though? *Wouldn't you be limiting yourself a little? * * * *

* i say 27 sp i don't have to change the scale, i would just put the
neck pickup
closer to the bridge. and since its a 7 string i got almost all the range i need.

I think the only thing you left out, bar a sustainer is a toaster oven and maybe a cup holder
seriously do you need all those things on one guitar,
three maybe, but one!!!!
Dont want to knock your Idea cuz If Ibanez built it and stuck jem on the headstock Id be amoung the first in the cue to buy one.
on the plus side there should be just enough room for a
monkey grip
tho. What about a lions claw?

* i supposed everyone here knows that every good guitar has a toaster built in it already!?!?
i mean this is just a crazy idea, im already getting the parts and the money to build it myself, it'll take me some time but all good things do. the lion's claw would look cool but i don't find it too practical and it would take away more mass out of the body and since its a V the monkey grip might make it fragile.

*Actually i wouldn't pt myself through the hell of trying to wire that double edge cause from what i heard it is a mayor pain in the rear, but i will try to get a gk-2A pickup in there to run a synth and to transcribe my songs easier
i estimate that i will have to spend 2000 bucks but like 1350 is power tools that i will only have to spend in once and the rest is materials and since the other guitar player of my band and th bass player want in on it too it should be fine, and if we all work on making our own instruments we shouldn't take too long
