7-string guitar available in the market?

I would just like to know what are the 7-strings model available in the market (or anywhere) right now? their features? price? Any brand.

also, what are the 7-string models that are good guitars but are no longer available right now?

any news about newer models to be released?

Thanks!

Which "market" are you referring to? (Where do you live?) For some companies like Ibanez, specific model availability varies from region to region.

There aren't too many production 7s available in the North American market these days, but there's still some choice.

Ibanez has the K7, RG1527 and AX7221.

Carvin has the DC727 and DC747.

Schecter still has a couple of models available... the Omen 7 and 007 Elite.

ESP has culled all the 7s from their LTD line, but has introduced a really nice new Stephen Carpenter signature 7.

I'm just happy that two of my three dream guitars are still available in North America. (Schecter 007 Elite and LTD Stephen Carpenter-7, only one missing is the RG-1077XL )

I think you may be able to order in a 2077XL in Canada... i saw one in Steve's Music in Toronto a couple of months ago. Perhaps Efkay may be able to get stuff that Hoshino or Chesbro passed on for the US market.
