7 String PRS for sale on ebay...
HERE
The link is to the meshuggah forum since i can't seem to post ebay links on here...
It looks pretty sweet...but personally i'd rather spend that kind of money on something else.

The
pickup rings
ruin it....looks dumb with those huge things on there. No thanks at any price really, but no freaking way at $7K

Wow, a PRS with an extra string and $5K added to it :P . Great looking guitar, but I absolutely will not buy it
The pickup rings look fine to me. I love the look of the guitar.

Actually, I don't think very much has been added to the price of the guitar at all. My understanding is that PRS Private sotck guitars really are that expensive.

I have a friend that's having a custom PRS 7 built right now. It's only costing him about 1/2 that price. However, he's been waiting for over 8 months now.

Nice axe - insane price. I'd be shocked if someone paid half of that for the guitar. Particularly these days. When most 7's are going for bargain prices (like the two USA Schecters I picked up recently - discussed in
this thread
) - it's tough to justify that kind of money on any guitar - PRS included.

If money were no object I'd snap it right up. That said, you could get a Universe AND a really nice motorcycle for that price.
PRS should add a few 7s to their lineup and be done with it. A Custom, a CE, they'd sell enough. A bright orange 10 top with a bolt on, brazilian fretboard, less than 3 grand...I might actually save up for that.

You could buy a Conklin 8 string with enough dough left over for a nice half stack.

A very nice guitar. It seems to me, something like that is more for collecting purposes than for real playing, though. Personally, yeah, I'd prefer a nice Conklin or 2, or something along those lines. More functionality, more gizmos, cheaper... but still, if I was loaded, I'd probably make a bid at that PRS, just to have it for novelty's sake and some collecting purposes I suppose.
