7 string tunings - Anyone have any good ideas for tunings?

I recently bought a 7 string, and other than the following tunings, does anyone tune their 7 differently, so I might be able to get a different sound??

ADGCFAD, BEADGBE, AEADGBE, CGCFADG...These are the only ones I've used, so if anyone has come up with or heard of something different, could you please help me out??

7 string tunings

I tune my 7's, low to high,

Gb
Db
Ab
db
gb
bb
eb

The (b) of course denotes flat.

Try some open tunings, to get a really drone-y sound, but make it really heavy. *Listen to The Tea Party (they use lots of alternate tunings, but no 7-strings) and make it heavy in your mind and you'll see how cool it could be. *Here's one I've been thinking of:

G#
C#
G#
C#
G#
C#
D#

Yes, the D# seems odd, but it sounds cool when used right. *The Tea Party has a similar tuning (remove the low G#) for a few of their songs (Winter Solstice, Sister Awake, Messenger, etc)

Well, i've never actually tried this, but it'd probably be pretty cool:

e
b
F#
D
A
E
B

Close to another one someone else posted. The basic idea is the bottom 6 strings are now tuned the same as a baritone electric, with one higher string on top. So, instead of playing 6-string chords over a low B, you'replaying the same chord voicings under ahigher string.

7 string tunings

I have used DADGAD on my accoustic for years. I have a 7 string that I wasn't using too much and I tried it on that guitar. I tuned it DADGADA. Very interesting tones and sounds
