i wonder what guitars korn uses on blind and their first album. not a fan of nu metal, just wondering. is it universe??

yep Universe... but they recorded this album with some Gibson...

so they used custom pain jobs on them? or were the universes released wih different finishes

They took old UV7BKs, UV7PWHs and duct taped them. They played and enjoyed their guitars - so naturally they got messed up and beaten up. Having seen one their UV7PWHs with the duct tape, no mid pup and other stuff done to it - honestly I can say that guitar is awesome.

Yeah, also, Munky switched up his pickguards too. He had a PWH with a BK pickguard and a BK with a PWH pickguard. I thought their UVs looked awesome too. When I saw them live back in 1997, Munky had an all black '97 UV7BK and Head had a beat up PWH.

I thought about doing that with my UVs too but I would need another BK. Since I have 2 PWHs and one BK, I don't want to mod the BK. I like it the way it is.
