7621 bk?

Just found this on that auction site,,,,7308056501 Check out the pic of the back of the head stock. It appears to be a new Bubinga style neck.... however I've never seen or at least ever notice that sort joint on the neck? Aren't they normally like a scarf joint there? This pic looks like it runs off flat onto the headstock. It just struck me as odd?

That's bizarre ! Looks almost PhotoShop'd . The serial# starts 'F98' , as does my 7620's serial , but I'll have to say , my neck looks nothing like that ! A scarf joint and NO stripe whatsoever . Looks like 2 pieces of 2 necks stuck together ! I don't think I'd buy it .

Yeah,,,it just struck me as out of place. I had no intention of buying, but I do look more closely now adays to get a good look at the back of the neck. I would like one one day, I want the 3 pc neck though. Which is why I check those auctions out just to see what the going rate is.

So does anyone know if the 3 pc was available on these guitars but just not available in the US? The reason I ask; some of these guitars (7321) that I've been looking at have either been pretty beat up or have serial numbers that don't jive. So that makes me think they can't be 05's. I'm new with the RG line so I'm not really up on what was being done when. Can anyone shed some light on this for me, and bring me up to speed?
