8 String Guitars ?

Hi...i am really interested in getting an 8 string sumtime very soon.....i talked to Eddie at EKG guitars and he was like he can only make me the body........so any1 of u ppl kno where i can get an 8 string neck from?.......also if u cld tell me of sum 8 strings for arnd 1700 dollars or so??

I recomend speaking to Revsharp777, he is really the only one that is having one built. He will know everything about it. So if you ask him he will let you know everything!

You could also send a few emails to Conklin and Nevborn. But a few people on here should be able to help ya out!

revsharp bought his neck off of ebay (they very occasionally come up) but Jeremy at LGM will be starting work on my 8 stringer soon - and the neck is coming to about $450 i think - drop him a mail.

Ya i looked at the LGM site...but i already have talked to EKG and i like wat eddie has done in respect to 8 strings......all tht is left is a neck.........nowhere do i seem to find 1.

I think he's telling you that you can use LGM for the neck and EKG for the rest if you want to. They've collaborated in the past and it's not like they couldn't coordinate the neck/neck pocket relationship or the string spacing/neck width relationship.

Eddie is building the body & assembling the guitar for me. Both Eddie (EKG) & Jeremy (LGM) are master craftsmen. Jeremy is offering 8-string necks with options for left- or right-handed & regular or reverse headstocks! If I have another 8-string built, a reverse 8-string neck sounds awesome to me.

As of now, my new 8-string is scheduled to be in my hands in 48 hours or less. I can't wait.

P.S. This is my 777th post! Coincidence?
