Hey, the whole thing started with that me and my friend Peter was planning on starting our old band again(crypt of kerberos

ibanez guitars that meshuggah and
Rusty cooley played on(met frippe from meshuggah while playing quake3 in 2001 and he hade a song called "8 strings from hell") and i liked the sound, it was really dark and brutal. We wanted to buy a 8 stringed ibanez. But when we realized that they where custom made and i didnt looked like ibanez was going to sell 8 stringed guitars. Then decided to build our own. We took a look at the nevborn sleipner but thought it was to expensive and we didnt like the look. So we started to search on internet and found some sites on guitar building.

Why did i and tn8 go for trem?.. because we already haved spend so much money on our guitars. So go for the fixed bridge without finetuning was a no go.
Many people where sceptical including tn8 but after some considirations he wanted and 8 stringed bitch to.
neck: 3 piece maple, mahogny, maple
scale: 700mm 070 to 009 strings but planning to use a 080 or something.
body: ash on my black and alder on my mt green guitar
fretboard: ebony and 20 inch radius

my guitars trem: TRS LO pro bought 3. one cut in half 3,3 the other two cut in 5,1 upper and 1,5 lower to get two 8 stringed trems from 3 6strings regular trems.
tuners: black gotoh tuners but not on these pics.. but their gonna be on some better pics. my mobilcam sucks..
Im gonna name my black one "8tung - u666" and the green one "8tung - u96 or a pornstar name after 8tung"
The other guitarist have also body. But the trem is a fixed trem useing 2 ibanez edge trems.

have chrome tuners on my pictures but ill gonna change them for my black gotohs when i have the time. My mt green guitar is gonna be ready for some action in some weeks. And my green bitch is gonna get ready for some action in a few weeks also.

right now we are riffing on our 8 stringed beautys for a new album.
Tn8´s guitar are like my mt green guitar he bought the neck from me and he has an alder body. He have worked the most of us on the finish off his guitar. And that one have the best finnishing look.
