Acquiring a 7621 neck
Hi guys,
I'm new here btw. so nice to meet you all!
I'm curious, how easy/difficult is it to acquire a
7621 neck
exactly?
My plan is to construct a custom 7621 with a mahogany body and blaze pick-ups.

Re: Acquiring a 7621 neck
Very easy, the 7421 also used a 7621 neck (they are even stamped 7621!) so if you find someone selling a 7421 neck..buy that as its literally the same thing.

You can also grab a beater for parts--you'd get the neck and all hardware you need.

Re: Acquiring a 7621 neck
I must say I really do like basswood guitars, my Stratocaster is either made from either this or mahogany. But I just imagine mahogany having a really nice tone and resonance for an RG. What do you guys think?
