Advice for my first 7.

I am looking at trading my old 6 string for a 7 string and I have 2 offers right now one is an RG7321 with an evo in the bridge and the other is a Schecter Damien 7 and some cash.

Which one of these do you jemsiters think is the better deal? Because I am having a real hard time deciding what to do and would like some opinions and advice please.

What guitar would you be trading for the 7? I personally prefer Ibanez way over Schecter but it is up to you. The Schecter has EMGs which I'm not too into and the Evo7 is a pretty slick pickup. Also the Schecter is a little bit longer scale length neck. I prefer just standard 25.5 scale length over the longer.

Those two are pretty much on par with each other, so if you dig Ibanez, then get the RG7321.

I will be trading my Schecter C-1 Elite I got a long time ago before my Jem and now it NEVER gets played anymore :/

So you guys think the quality of these two guitars are the same for the most part? As in soundwise?

id go with the rg and you will have to change the stock pick ups with original DiMarzios, the neck on the rg is very confortable, still dont think its on par with the 6 string you are going to trade, but the rg is a well arround guitar but like i said you will have to change the stock pick ups. if you can get the s7320 go there one of the best guitars i have played and you could also try to get a rg7620 you wont be disapointed by any of those.

Hmm, i think you answered it right there bro, get the Ibi, if you play your Jem the 7 string radius will feel comfortable to you already as it's not a million miles away compared to the Schecter.

Plus the Ibi has the Evo7 which personally has to be one of the best and most versatile 7 string pickups around
