Agile Interceptor tuning issue?

Hi there,

I recently picked up an Agile Interceptor Pro 27 Camo EMG guitar. The guitar shipped to me promptly and I was on my way to testing out this beast. Everything seemed great at first and it was in the standard B tuning. Then I decided to drop it down to A and play some KoRn. But when I dropped the tuning, almost all of the strings were practically laying on the neck and none of the strings would sound, just buzz.. I'm wondering why this is the issue getting it right from the factory? Shouldn't this guitar be able to handle the lower tunings without adjusting the action? Anyone with info on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

You have to loosen the tremolo springs on the back of the guitar, so that the tremolo will be parallel to the body. Check out Rich's guide

Those have floyd roses correct? Lower tuning would instantly make the tremolo pull super tight against the body making the strings really low and tight against the neck and frets.

Ah ok I will attempt to give this a shot! Thank you so much. Hopefully I don't screw anything up, as I have never done this before. Lol
