LGM headstock shape with 5/3 tuner config.
Translucent black headstock finish, with chrome LGM guitars logo
26" scale length - 24 frets
Dunlop 6100 fretwire
Raw, unfinished neck
Side dot inlays (black), custom Inlay at the 12th fret in black plastic

Nice!

I'm going up to Conklin (hopefully if work allows) next week to meet with Bill and plan out my 8 string.

Man, sounds awesome! Thats pretty much just like what i would have gotten (maple boards rock}. So how are you going to tune this thing, and what gauges of string are ya using? Also, what kind of music will you be playing on this beast?

Its gonna be standard 7 string tuning, but plus a low F#. String gauges will be a hybrid set working from 8's, but then with super heavy bottom end...Ive not toally decided yet, but thats the jist of it. :P

Fingerboard's radiused, necks shaped When Jeremy was shaping he came across the stripe - He offered to re-build a new neck but I love it, theres no point in hiding the fact the thing is made out of wood!
Enjoy....

Dude, that neck is looking sweet! Initially, I wasn't sure about the 5+3 tuner configuration (because I like my 8-inline), but it looks great!

And yes, there will need to be a new forum added for us 8- & 9-stringers. HAHA!
