Any german RG2027 lovers?

Hi,
I have been visiting this forum for nearly two years, but this is actually my first post. So here we go:

I own two 7strings and although my RG2027 is a dream come true, I end up playing on my RG7621 most of the time which is really sick, because my 2027 looks better, has probably the best neck Ibanez ever put on a 7string and I always preferred edge-trems over fixed bridges

So shall I keep it just for the beauty of it? If somebody is desperately in need of a RG2027XVV here in Germany, he could probably talk me into selling it to him.

I used to own one, but for me, the tone of a 7620 with an Air Norton/Tone Zone-7 set was just much closer to what my ears wanted to hear... It's one of the most beautiful guitars I've ever seen, much less owned. It hurt to let it go, but... I hear ya, man. Now, an alder 7 with a maple fretboard...

Drew, stop dreaming and get yourself a vigier. The build quality is amazing

Juka, go to the petrucci forum, I know some people there who would kill for a 2027

Sure, you wanna foot the bill? I looked at them, and they seemed pretty sweet. However, for the time being I'm thinking of just going with EKG for a custom alder replacement body, stained turquoise and given a couple coats of tung oil, to protect it while still letting the wood resonate. That and maybe an aluminum guard, a la the BSB... That'll come after i get myself un-broke, though.

hey, can I ask you something?
ok thanks!

When you have money, ask EKG for 2 bodies. It's ok if mine is unfinished, I'll get someone to do it for me.
Thanks again, you r00l!

Sure, if you're willing to cover cost plus shipping... It's probably easier for Eddie to ship to me and me to ship to you than it is for him to ship to you, and the difference between shipping two bodies to me, and just one, is probably negligable. I can't tell you when I'll have a disposable source of income yet (mine ends sept. 1st, on which day I begin paying rent, which is gonna be fuuuun), but when I do, I'll be in touch.

SELL YOUR 2027?!

Good god!
...Raymond, don't go into the light..
...senses fading...

Of course it's about taste but I enjoy the heck out of mine.
I guess I should be happy as long as you stick to Ibanez

I know it's hard!
But no, it is not all about taste, sometimes it is simply due to health problems.
Maybe I'm growing old, but my 2027 is really heavy (even for a mahagony guitar) and I've got problems with my spinal column.

But I will definitely stick to Ibanez, maybe a RG 2077XL, which will be closer to my RG7621 in weight and sound, with added definition on the B-String.
