Any good 7s available ?


Hi.......i was looking for some good 7s with a trem and a neck thru contruction...well i havn't found any so far.......can anyone direct me to some.....i am not looking at any custom shop as an option tho.......help much appreciated.

I don't think the 7620 is neckthrough.

Try the Carvin DC727/747. Those are neckthrough and can be had with trem. I'm currently budgeting for one right now!

the Carvins are good, but need modification for any aftermarket pickups.

i like the ESP SC-607. it is neck through but has a string through body tune o matic rather than a trem.

Carvin 7's are decent for the relatively low price tag but are not top-notch - I owned two at one point and then discovered Schecter USA 7's. Search through past threads to find the exact pup dimension comparison between Carvin and Dimarzio. My other beef was with the poor fret dressing on both Carvins I owned.

Schecter USA has made a few neck-thru 7's but they are few and far between.

yeah i have seen those carvins long ago.......didnt remember...but anything other than that.......those are nice......but i was wondering if there was more variety in neck thru 7s.

Depending on how deep your pockets are – contact Schecter or a Schecter dealer as I know they’ve made some neck-through sevens – I remember seeing a Korina neck-through with like 30 frets being sold by Drum City Guitarland a while ago.
