Broke my 2027, whee!

I was adjusting the bridge height and the other bridge stud broke in 3 pieces. Whee I say. I did everything in the correct manner, had no problem with the other stud but the other one just broke. Some say it's probably due to a problem in the casting process or something. The piezo seems dead also. The warranty better cover this...

talk to your dealer about the piezo. The studs are easy to break where the allen wrench fits. Perhaps they'll cover that, even if it was your fault for the breakage. It's possible the pivot point is fine making the stud still usable (but harder to adjust) in the meantime. Make sure to loosen the set screw if you try to adjust them. Good luck... glen

Well now I have it figured out. The windings ( ? ) of the bridge stud were fuzzed up, so the part couldn't turn freely and broke. The piezo works now when I removed the bridge, have to send the thang down to Helsinki where they'll fix da bugger.
