Can u guys measure your 7 string PU's for me? - mm please

I have a Carvin 7 string and *i want to change a PU in it, now i think the Carvin Pu's are narrower than other Pu's so can any1 measure your 7 string PU & please specify dimesions in mm and manufacturer (Dimarizo, Duncan or EMG)

I know for a fact that the EMG-707s are MUCH bigger than most 7-string pickups, but I think (don't take my word for it though, lol) that Carvin's pickups are designed to be interchangable with any other "standard" sized pickup, therefore allowing you to put Carvin stuff in, say, a Strat, and vice-versa. *

Thanks, I know i'll have to drill an extra hole in the pu so that a 3rd screw would fit, but i really need those measurements......anybody.....

Actually, it would be better to replace the p-up rings as well, rather than taking a drill to your pickup.

OK, here's the dimensions as taken from my Carvin DC747C and my Ibanez RG2027 (with stock Ibanez pups):

Carvin Humbuckers: * 33mm wide by 80mm tall
Ibanez Humbuckers: * 35.5mm wide by 76.5mm tall

Note that these dimensions are just of the pups themselves (ie. the bobbins) and exclude the mounting tab dimensions.

Note also that my 2027 is still configured with the stock Ibanez pups. *I believe, however, that any Dimarzio 7 string humbuckers are drop-in replacements and are therefore approximately the same dimensions.
