Yeah, Satch actually wears his pretty low, especially for all the crazy stuff he does. I usually wear mine a couple inches higher than that. Anyway, to keep it the post on topic, I really don't see what the big deal about the guitar is. I'd rather have a Universe. I bet it sounds good, though, with the

basswood body
and maple top. I like the idea of having 27 frets, too.

distorted, it sounds more articulate than anything else imo!
its a bit too cold sounding for say jazz, but its a shredder's dream, seriously!
about how high we are strapping, I must say I'm damn high compared to both of you. Somewhat like Petrucci here!

I wear my guitar about as high as Petrucci too. I can still run around and headbang with no problem too.

I used to be down (no pun intended) with the really low guitar strapping, until I actually started to play some stuff that took some effort.

Funny, I play stuff that takes effort, I just enjoy having my guitar somewhere below my nipples and bellybutton.
I actually do strap my guitar on really low when playing only rhythm stuff, because it's more fun/easier. Except for metal stuff, then it's high again.
